A compact Windsor garden transformed into a fully designed outdoor space — with every practical detail thought through from the start.

The centre piece is an anthracite porcelain patio, chosen for its clean, contemporary tone and its durability underfoot year-round. A centred ACO channel runs across the paving, handling surface water drainage properly rather than as an afterthought — the kind of detail that makes a garden last.

Batten fencing defines the boundaries with a contemporary slatted finish, complemented by a softwood corner bench that makes use of a space that would otherwise be wasted.

The bench is built in, not dropped in — it belongs to the garden. Raised sleeper flowerbeds were constructed along the borders, giving the planting proper depth and creating a strong visual structure that frames the patio. The planting scheme was designed and installed by us — chosen for year-round interest, the aspect of the garden and how the client actually uses the space.The result is a garden that works hard, looks considered, and feels genuinely designed rather than assembled.
